✨ Easy & Festive Mulled Wine Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 bottle of red wine (Merlot, Cabernet, or Shiraz work beautifully)
• 1 orange, sliced
• 1/4 cup honey or sugar
• 3 cinnamon sticks
• 5–6 whole cloves
• 2 star anise
• 1/4 cup brandy (optional but delicious)
• Fresh cranberries or extra slices of orange, mint or rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1. In a medium pot, combine the wine, sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and honey.
2. Warm over low heat without boiling. (Boiling cooks off the alcohol and changes the flavor.)
3. Let it gently simmer for 20–30 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse.
4. Add brandy and stir.
5. Taste and sweeten as needed.
6. Ladle into heat-proof mugs and garnish with orange slices or cranberries
